Art Review Mock ups NOT using original dimensions

Still not using the dimensions provided for my art in the mock ups in Art Review. I just ran a new review for Radiance and one really OBVIOUS mock up has taken my 24” x 16” painting and has blown it up to about 6’ wide. I have reached the point where I simply can’t trust these mock ups as they are clearly designed for selling prints and ignoring originals. It’s becoming a waste of my time.

Mary — you were right, and the cause was exactly what you described.
Art Review was building every room mockup without sending your artwork's real dimensions. When the size is missing, the mockup renderer falls back to the room template's own default placement, which is roughly half the width of the wall in that photo — 4 to 6 feet in a typical room, whatever the piece actually is. So your 24 x 16 was hung at about six feet, and it would have done the same to a miniature or a mural. It wasn't a prints-versus-originals decision, and it wasn't that the numbers were missing: your 24 x 16 has been on Radiance's record the whole time. We just weren't sending it.
That's fixed and live as of today. Art Review now hangs every mockup at the real size on your record, which is what the Mockups tool and the rest of ArtHelper were already doing — Art Review was the odd one out. You don't need to re-run anything: reload your Radiance report and the rooms will be at 24 x 16.
Barbara — yours is the same bug from the other end. When a piece is too large for a room's wall, the renderer can't place it at true size, and it was quietly falling back to that same default, which is why your large work came out looking like a mini. Rooms that genuinely can't stage a piece at its real size are now left out rather than shrinking it to fit, and the chapter tells you how many remain (for a 24 x 16 piece it's 195 of 256 rooms).
Jane — "show art in the real dimensions" is the part that shipped today, in Art Review. Small art in a room setting (shelf, desktop) and new room views have not been done, and I'm not going to dress that up here.
One thing worth knowing: this works on pieces that have width, height and units saved. Where a piece doesn't, the mockups section now says so plainly and gives you the fields to add them right there, and every room re-hangs as soon as you save.
Sorry it took this post to catch it. The specifics you gave — 24 x 16, "about 6 feet" — are what made it findable in an afternoon.

Nick Friend (Staff) Thanks so much Nick! Such a relief that you caught this and fixed it so quickly. Really appreciate this. Big hugs and kudos to the entire team and you for doing this!

I agree, some of my large artworks are made into mini's and it seems that there is no way to correct this, so mockups for that artwork are useless.

Agreed Mary. Very disappointing that more focus hasn't been placed on fixing the basics rather than rolling out the next Artstorefronts 'upsell.' We've also been asking for the ability to show small art in a room setting (shelf, desktop, etc), show art in the real dimensions, and new room views. None of this has happened.
