I really think that a seamless integration of Art Helper with ASF must be an optional bundle for artists. With that said, I totally understand why ASF and Art Helper are separate products. One is an e-commerce system, while the other is a marketing system. Not everyone will want both. Also, as a "techie" I understand that these two products need different types of developers - however, as artists, we need both functions to interoperate seamlessly. That means having one media archive where all stuff is stored - no matter where it was created (ASF or AH). Images, posts, metadata, web statistics, CRM, etc. That will enable the buying experience for the customer to gain momentum towards a sale. The customer needs to see a piece of interesting art, click on it and go to a customized landing page in the artist's ASF which allows them to continue envisioning that piece in their home as well as other art that would complement it (or other options). If they decide that they don't want that particular piece of art, ASF needs to hold onto them longer - cut down on the bounce rate by making use of what we know from AH. We will know where the customer came from (referring site) as well as what marketing campaign brought them to ASF (because we know the URL generated by AH that they clicked on to get to ASF). ASF should use that information to tailor the shopping experience. Example - let's say that they saw an AH generated post on Reddit that was in a horse related sub-reddit, but the art piece they clicked on was a horse and a barn in the countryside. Use all of that in the generation of custom galleries for that customer - horses, barns, countryside. Or - use AI recommender technology to recommend specific pieces based on the piece they selected (i.e., the "you might also like" list) or add in positive comments to the art in Reddit to the recommender search. These recommender algorithms can be trained on the behavior of ALL customer to ALL ASF websites.... not just the one this person on this website. E.g., the recommender will learn the sort of stuff that Walmart knows - e.g., people that buy diapers also buy wipes, etc... However, it will be about art buying patterns. This info can also be used to generate ad hoc promotions to hit that customer with - right then. Some of the ASF storefronts have this sort of feature - but I'm guessing that the recommendations are piece that are from the same gallery that the piece is in (e.g., other pictures in the static horse gallery). I'm thinking of "synthetic" galleries that are created to be tailored to this user or a class of users - as well as leverage external circumstances (like it's Christmas). With all of this said, all of these things take processing and wall clock time ... but they can be performed in the background during the couple of minutes that the customer is looking at the piece of art that they initially clicked on.
